My great aunt lived at College Walk/assisted living for the last two years of her life. My family and I were very pleased with the care she received during this time. We all live out of state, and it gave us great peace of mind knowing she was well cared for. JoAnn and I felt the need to express our opinion of life at College Walk because we are extremely happy living here. We lived in a two bedroom CW apartment for a few months while waiting for a cluster home to become available. The apartment was comfortable and the staff surpassed our expectations. My mom lives there. They make sure she is okay when I am not able to around. Thank you. I read how other people's parents were social so it begged me to respond... My mom is not very social but she can choose whether she wants to be around others or stay in her apartment. That makes her happy, and that's all that really matters, isn't it?
Because my father lived closer to me than my sisters, we decided that my dad would reside at College Walk Retirement Community - Assisted Living. While living there my father went into Hospice Care and the staff continued to provide professional and emotional support. I couldn't have made a better choice. I would highly recommend College Walk, as it made a positive difference during a difficult time.
