The apartments are in a great spot however they have some very interesting policies. For starters they do not have empty apartments to tour. Your apartment will be volunteered to be toured by random people during any day from 9am-6pm. You have to pay a monthly parking permit fee to have the privilege to hunt for a parking spot because the buildings do not have parking lots that are large enough to fit everyone. If I had to describe my experience here in one sentence, it would be: the biggest issue is management. The property itself isn't even the main reason I'm leaving this review. It's the way management communicates with residents and handles situations involving money, leases, and basic concerns. After enough experiences like this, you start questioning whether anything you're told is actually going to be honored. The renewal process was one of the biggest examples. The location was wonderful and the staff is incredible. My questions would get answered promptly and every correspondence was met very kindly. Now— the negatives... certain apartments have bug problems. My apartment was riddled with roaches and termites despite laying traps and bait/killer. The good part was that pest control does come very quickly. Despite the issues with bugs, I found College Park to be worth the stay for the low price (if you can deal with killing lots of bugs). An unprofessional and unorganized apartment complex. I do not recommend renting here. Maintenance people are nice but the front office is not helpful and borderline rude.
