College of the Desert is a most exciting college! Just recall Mr. Jack Tapleshay and I around campus. Girls take him for English 1A. He shared with the class you really should not say "how you know something" but that "you understand something" ...So that is where this comes from. Thank you professor Tapleshay! Love, Trish.
I am impressed by the quality of instructors and the quality of most programs here. I have to compliment the English Department. My wallet fell out of my backpack somewhere. Of course, I was panicked and I couldn't look for it until after two classes -- about four hours. At 10 p.m. I went to security services and found that my wallet, with all my cards and cash, was turned in by an unnamed English professor.
