RecommendedI recently went to College Gardens for the first time, after seeing a post advertising houseplants they just got in. It was totally worth the hour drive. They had a nice selection of beautiful and healthy plants at very reasonable prices. Plus I found some nice ceramic pots. I will definitely be back. They also had a huge variety of Christmas decorations. The most I’ve ever seen in one place! I noticed previous reviews complaining about masks, but everyone I came across, both customers and employees, were all wearing them.
Wonderful place for plants and hard goods like soil and pots. Lots of variety to pick from 🌱 wonderful gifts as well year round, and Christmas time is gorgeous 🎄
I have purchased plants from them for many years. However, I don’t think I can continue to support a business that does not adhere to the PA Mandate and follow the masking protocol. I’ve been in 2x during COVID and no one is masked and no attempt to mask up upon customers arrival. Have heard from numerous people that this is the case with them as well. Disappointed to say the least.
Thank you for offering curbside Pickup. It was a wonderful experience, calling in, receiving guidance in the plants, pots and soil I would need and having all my items available for pick up in a timely fashion. We will be back for sure!
Thank you, College Gardens, for offering pickup during this lockdown! They were very helpful on the phone and selected for me a great split leaf Philodendron (very young, can’t wait to watch it grow massive) and a fiddle leaf tree. 😊
Best place to get plants in town and well priced. They always have a good selection of house plants.
College Gardens has a fantastic Christmas collection--trees, lights, ornaments, etc. Great place to get a good start on Christmas.
Their Christmas ornament displays in November and December are just beautiful, and so many great holiday gift ideas too. I also purchase door wreathes for the different seasons from College Gardens.
