As the primary option for mental health care in taft, they get away with too much here. Their doctor left and they never informed us so when I went to get a refill from the pharmacy, they had to fax the doctor for more. Not knowing that the doctor left, the refills never came through so I called college community services. They told me the doctor left and that the new doctor won't prescribe him the medicine he's been taking for 9 years until she sees him. I asked for the soonest appointment. It's a month away. My one year anniversary is coming up at the end of this month and I just want to say thank you to the community and to our staff. To our staff for making the changes we needed to make to help the community trust us and to the community for allowing us to share what we know about mental health and substance use disorders.
