What an expert in her field! And beyond knowledgeable, she is approachable, able to explain things to my satisfaction. I would definitely send anyone who has recalcitrant c-diff colitis or symptoms similar to her for her wisdom. She spent more than enough time to answer all of my (and my husband’s) questions. The extra wait time was well worth EVERY minute of it, as she doesn’t rush through the appointment but makes sure you are comfortable with her diagnosis, treatment, and other information.
Dr. Kelly is smart, on top of things and listens to what I have to say. She explains everything and comes into the room knowing what's going on with you (some doctors need to be reminded who you are and why you are there!). I would recommend her to anyone who needs a good GI

I've been a patient with lifespan for almost 10 years and have never experienced such disrespect. I tried 3 times to build a rapport with the doctor and for some reason we were not able to click. I've had skin lesions on my skin for as long as I've been seeing dr. Colleen Kelly. When I bring up these concerns to the Dr. she responds with "well Amanda I'm not a dermatologist". So two years later and I still have the same concerns. Dr. told me I was crazy and this wasn't going to work. Disgusted!
I had Colonoscopy scheduled. I did prep for procedure, checked in at RI Hospital, average wait time. I was brought in prepare for procedure, medical info, gown on, IV. Then I waited in the hallway, waited, waited and waited. I finally told nurse I was done. I was changing into my clothes and wanted my IV removed. I walked out.
