Our AC went out on a Friday evening—of course, the worst possible timing! I called Colkitt and spoke with a tech who walked me through what to do to get through the night. First thing the next morning, he was out to diagnose the problem and found out that the coil was bad. I decided to go ahead and replace the system with a new Trane unit, though it was a few days out. I am pleased to express our happiness with Colkitt A/C. Their commitment to customer satisfaction and professionalism has been great. We have had two A/C units under semiannual maintenance agreements for the past 15 years (over the years both units have been replaced). Colkitt Sheet Metal Air Conditioning company of Vero Beach… oh how I wish I knew about them two service companies ago. In 2017, my Mom had her HVAC unit replaced by ARS. After four years we were no longer satisfied with the level of service being provided by ARS and so we switched to Freedom Air. In November of 2022, the evaporator coil went bad and was replaced under the parts warranty. One week ago, less than 22 months later, the evaporator coil needed to be replaced again.
