My girlfriend was having a rough day, so we decided to treat ourselves to dinner at Colita after seeing so many recommendations for its gluten-free menu. We were genuinely excited to try it. We arrived at 7:05 p.m. for our 7:15 reservation and were told our table would be ready in about 10 minutes, which seemed perfectly reasonable. The food is pretty good, but honestly not at the price point. Pinchos with cold interior, really boring cauliflower tostadas (leaning hard on spice without other flavors), but the shrimp tacos were great. Not bad, just not at the price point at all.

Went to dinner with a couple of friends who know their foods. They were excited to come back here. It was amazing. The flavors, the originality (sun flower seed hummus, yes please!), the plating, everything was spot on.
