update: as of tuesday may 6 there is no change. We were told on may 1 it would be a few more days, the ac still does not work 5 days later. Cons: It is may 2 with a high of 84 degrees and we do not have AC in the building, It is all residents have been talking about for the last few weeks. Management waits too long to switch the building from heat to cold air to save money at the expense of the safety of their residents especially the elderly and children. Don't be fooled by the seemingly glowing reviews on this place. At the end of the day it really is just another run-down Silver Spring apartment complex. Even though I was assured during my tour that my unit had no issues that management was aware of (which I'm sure I was only told to get me to sign) since move-in I have been plagued by many issues. Plumbing in this building is terrible. My unit's toilet backed up into my shower on two separate occasions, and on both maintenance always needed to be called in multiple times a... read more
The worst road reception remover faced The reception of this building has a very bad attitude, even a follow the instruction at the front door to call the reception. And he was just looking at me, not answering the call. The just opened the door for me. He looked at me and I was waiting for someone else to camp. And open the door for me.
I’ve lived here for about 7 months and love it. Built in the 1950s with lots of concrete; so unlike most modern apartments that have paper maché walls, you aren’t forced to hear everything your neighbors are doing. That soundproofing is probably the most important factor to me. Nice lobby with beautiful fixtures. Decent laundry facilities.
