They have a lot of things in here, everything from carpenter tools and from plumbing tools are here and they also have appliances in here.
I love that I have limited funds on me and still they made all works. They gave me some of the best but rationally priced tools in their store. They actually helped me in here.

Last of the old-time hardware stores While I think Cliff's on Castro may offer some more abstruse items, and far more interesting decor stuff, Cole is the place for plain, no-nonsense hardware with a lot of knowlegable advice and basic things that you can't find at the big depot stores. All their locations have semi-difficult parking situations, which is kind of a pain, and you may have to wait a while for service, but when they get to you they give you all their attention and reallly try to help.

Best place for knick knacks! My boyfriend loves to go here and whenever we go to this store together, I'm surprised when I always seem to find something that I needed for the house! This place is more than a hardware store. The staff knows their stuff and can pretty much tell you where every items is by heart. I've found little clips that I've been looking for everywhere for my plants, and they had it for $.25 each!! What a deal!
Helpful salespeople Cole hardware on Polk has friendly, helpful sales people who will listen to what you think you need, and make a good recommendaiton. For a hardware novice like myself, it is always appreciated.
