Katie. Same thing happened with my aunt. She rents a home from this company and her ac blade broke. She has been without ac in her home now for two weeks. They will not communicate with her and any update or request falls on deaf ears. They also told her it is in her contract that they don't have to prorate her rent. This should have been expedited as a priority due to the extreme heat. However the issue was pushed to the sidelines.
Make sure to rent a house that does Not need much/any maintenance. If they ever come out, it takes them Forever and they will pretty much always have to come back out for the same thing again. We have had few good experiences. It still takes weeks for anything to be done even if you keep calling them. They say its all on the landlord. However, you cant talk to them.
