Customer service needs work for sure. I went in at a decent time at night, not before closing. I tried being friendly at minimum but didn't receive that back, just blank, annoyed looks. Not really a good experience.
Getting a little better since I wrote my review below. Some one still needs to try and at least being more personable. I stopped going here for a good amount of time because of the employees weren't what I was used to when going to cold stone. Moody girl that seems to always be there. Just not nice at all. They barely speak to you. I don't know how many times I've asked them for a bag or no bag or definitely I don't need spoons but they always put them in the bag and in sorry but that's wasteful. Nice and clean and very friendly.
It's cold stone. If you have been to one you have been to them all. The ice cream was good, service was quick.
I had a very upsetting experience at the Cold Stone location on Power Rd in Mesa/Gilbert. I walked in 5 minutes before closing, and as soon as I approached the counter (2 ladies), I greeted them with a smile and said “hi,” but neither of them responded with a smile! When I asked for just one minute to look at the options and decide what I wanted, they exchanged another UNPLEASANT look (at least for 10 seconds) with each other—almost as if they were wondering why I had even come in.
