I had a very upsetting experience at the Cold Stone location on Power Rd in Mesa/Gilbert. I walked in 5 minutes before closing, and as soon as I approached the counter (2 ladies), I greeted them with a smile and said “hi,” but neither of them responded with a smile! When I asked for just one minute to look at the options and decide what I wanted, they exchanged another UNPLEASANT look (at least for 10 seconds) with each other—almost as if they were wondering why I had even come in. I thought id be a little nice and give a tip. I bought two items, my total came out to $19 even including the tip! I look at my bank account and cold stone took out $36.15, not $19!!. I typed in the tip. I know what I put, I didnt put a $17 tip just for one scoop of ice-cream? I do not care if "it's just" $17.15 you dont just get to take that out of someone's account!
Always love cold stone , ice cream has always been great, some of the staff just didn't look super clean , hands and clothes were dirty.. just made me a little nervous with them serving the food .. but they were all super friendly
First day of school trip with my grandson was amazing, helpful staff and very clean establishment.
