Great Work, clean and friendly – I decided to get another tattoo on my vacation and stopped in at Cold Steel. My tattoo artist, Brian (I think) came out and took a look at a photo I found while waiting on my iPhone. He quickly drew up a sketch and it was exactly what I wanted. Family Piercing – My teenage son had been bugging me for a piercing for awhile. I told him he had to wait till he was 16 just like I did. The folks at Cold Steel were really great. Danni was exceptionally good at explaining the pros and cons to my kid and even talked him out of one type in favor of another because this would be his first piercing. not happy The place is nice and clean and has a great selection but the staff wasn't too helpful. They don't pay attention to the customer and one of them made a rude comment toward my friend and I. I wasn't pleased with this place
Wanted it, got it, good... – I had been wanting to get a labret on my left side for the longest. My boyfriend and I decided to go in on Monday. I live in Union City close to Hayward. i wouldnt trust my skin to anyone else – I've gone to cold steel a few times in the past two years. I first went there for a lip piercing and the piercer worked dillegently to allign the new lip piercing with the oddly angled on i already had from another place, and they came out really well. They also gave me a discount because it was my birthday. I went back a few weeks later when i'd lost my tongue ring and they worked hard to fit me with a new one without gaguing the hole a lot. Best piercing studio in SF – I've been to a few other places and Cold Steel on Haight is BY FAR the best. They close at 8:00pm and I got there at 7:45 and wanted a piercing. They told me they stop piercing at 7:30 but that since I called earlier, they would squeeze me in. Jeff was my piercer, and he was WONDERFUL. GREAT all around! – I have only gotten a peircing from there but it was fantastic! I was a walk in client and they helped me really quickly and were even apolegetic for the "long wait" which couldn't have been more then a few minutes. It was my first piercing and a cartilage one. DO NOT GO HERE FOR PIERCINGS – i dont know how their tattoo services are but i would not go here again to get a piercing. i went to get my toungue pierced 2 weeks ago and wanted to make it a memorable experience so i brought my camera. when the piercer called me in everything was going fine until i asked if i could take a picture before she stuck the needle through. she said that was fine as long as she didnt have to be in the picture. i had absolutley no problem with that but i asked her if her hands could be in the picture... read more
