Have been there twice winter time dec 2014 and 2015 with large groups of people. Had great time. Place is cute, well kept. Lots do outside whether it is snowing or not. Heard no complains from people who came with us. Thank u
It has many things going for it and the location is great and I like the cabins, but it was poorly managed. We were there the summer of 2014 and our cabin was overrun with mice and mouse poop. They did give us stuff to put down to try and control them but we went and bought our own traps and caught 5 mice while we were there. I had to clean everything in the kitchen because the silverware drawer was full of mouse poop and it was all over the shelves where the dishes were located. Best place to relax with family and the owners are awesome
We had a great time staying in Cabin #5. Beautiful scenery! Not far from several towns. Lots of hiking in the area. Absolutely gorgeous in the Fall!!! I will definitely be planning another stay here. Karen and Matt were very friendly. The cabin is a perfect cozy, rustic retreat! The first two nights were quiet and peaceful...unfortunately a bunch of people arrived on the third day and the noise level went up dramatically, but when you are inside the cabin, you can't hear anything. We had great time at Cold Spring Resort and Lodge. If you want unplug from busy city and relax this is place to do so. The hotel room are simple enough to sleep,relax and listen to birds,cricket and frogs outside. So much to do here, we went hiking, found beautiful waterhole to dip in. Visited different towns and hour away was Woodstock or Gardiner if you want to go Skydiving at The Ranch. The resort has beautiful lawn tuk in back away from road. RecommendedGreat getaway from the city. Very relaxing and Matt and Karen are awesome. They deliver everything to you. Wish the bar was still open but besides that i had a great time. Planning on going back again for the winter to ski and again next summer.
