I just want to share my experience as I don't want to see others go through what we just went through. This agent promised the family to list the house below market value to start a bidding war, and by weekend. We would see high numbers, good results. unprofessional, we had booked a viewing for a house he had listed using our realtor, he messaged our realtor 1/2 hour before our viewing saying the house is conditionally sold, which would be fine if he just recieved it.....however t he knew the previous day and failed to inform our realtor. wasting my wife's time and pulling me away from work. this also is bad for his clients because a possible bidding could have driven up the price for his own clients.
