Old school neighborhood place, good every time!
Was there earlier today for a mid day lunch with family. First time actually I have been there in my life. I'm Brooklyn born but living on Staten Island. I have been to many Italian restaurants in and around NYC. Had some good experiences, and some bad ones. From what I've read about this place beforehand, it's a staple in an area what is now a dying breed of an Italian neighbourhood. Why not give it a shot. To me, the decor was outdated. This place looks dirty , I saw a roach crawling on the dining room floor, the food taste old , as if its been reheated a few times ,the pasta was way overcooked and the staff is not very customer friendly , they seemed preoccupied with the joking instead of the customers .......! Waste of time and money ....!
Ate here recently -- moving my daughter to her new Brooklyn apartment and we wanted some good Brooklyn Italian food (I'm 1st generation who grew up in Jersey). This was close by and had great ratings. It did not disappoint -- it was phenomenal. The Italian cheese cake was to die for. And the bottle of Anisette on the table for espresso -- haven't seen that in ages. Next time I'm in the city I am definitely going back.
The thing I miss the most about Brooklyn hands down my favorite restaurant the best there was the best there is and ever will be!
Old fashion italian. All of your favorites and then some. Always good service with reasonable prices. I am a frequent customer.
It's a great restaurant, I always enjoy the food when I go!
Authentic Italian food!!! Can't wait to go back to Brooklyn to enjoy another fabulous meal
