Dr Colander is probably an okay doctor, nice enough, but the office staff is not the best. Scheduler said “establish care, no physical” and then they sprung a physical on me without fasting. They didn’t get a good Pap smear which had to be redone so I did a fasting blood test a week later which got lost. A 3rd blood test resulted in “take meds” rather than gauging interest in holistic approach with diet & exercise. Excellent! I was a cash pay client waiting for Medicare to kick in with diabetes and Dr. Colander was wonderful ... I'm sad to have moved from the area and will miss dealing with him and his office. He was patience and listened well ... provided me with the confidence to deal with my condition.
I have been a patient at Mile High Primary since 2018, but I have never once met a doctor. I have had 5 appointments and not once have I ever been graced with the presence of one of the doctors, not even when I asked the scheduler to schedule me to see one of them. She didn't even tell me she scheduled me with the "new" PA. If I had known that I couldn't see the doctor, I would have asked to see the PA I knew. I had too many negative experiences w/ another health service. I was ready 2 give up @ my age. I asked God fr a Dr that believes n Him. In his waiting room was a bible( like back n the old days). I have been w/ him fr a number of yrs now. I've found him 2 b professional,intelligent & pleasant. His bed side manor & common sense have been refreshing. I have been a patient for about 25 years. I have always like the doctors in the office. I am a overall healthy person and don't need to go in much. In the last couple years I have moved to a medishare program and was told I can not go there any longer as they do not take cash patients. I have never carried a bill with them. Do the doctors even know they are turning away long time patients. I need to get a tetanus shot and they will not see me even though I am willing to pay cash on the spot. Dr. Colander has been my doctor since 1997 and I wouldn’t see anyone else. He’s patient, kind and truly listens. He treats the whole patient, not just the physical part of you. I have recommended him to everyone I know who needs medical help.
Dr. Timothy Colander is the best Dr. my Mom and I could ever find. He genially takes time to listen, asks questions and takes the time to explain your condition. Never rushes you out of the appointment and is a very kind, caring man. Offices are neat and clean. Staff is wonderful & we have never had to wait over 10 minutes to see him. We have complete trust with Dr. Colander. He has never let us down. If you are looking for a great Dr., you don't have to look any further...he's your man.
Dr. Colander is Board certified, was recommended by a health care professional pal a few yrs ago. Hubby & I were very displeased with our prior internist. We are EXTREMELY happy with Dr. C - found our family practice for life! He & his staff are ultra responsive - SAME DAY answers. That's extraordinary in the present health care environment.
