Bread Review: So far, the wheat sourdough is the best sourdough bread I have had in Stuart. One point off for STILL not having a slicer! I am adept at slicing but it is time-consuming and seems like it should be included in a $16 loaf of bread. I am still in search of a loaf similar to Balthazar's Pain de Seigle but this will have to do for now. Glad to see a gluten-free sourdough option, will try next time.
Very clean and friendly staff. Bar has great drinks and the storefront is always filled with yummy goodies.
From the moment my finace' and I walked in, the two hostess' were not very friendly and instantly made us feel unwelcome. We then sat down, it took a few minutes for the waitress to make her way over (we were the only ones in the resturant for brunch at that time) but she was pretty friendly. We walked in at 915 on Saturday night-website and sign on door says open until 10-several wait staff standing around and no one greeted us or talked to us until my husband physically walked into the dining room past the hostess stand and asked if the kitchen was still open-then we were finally told the kitchen was closed. I totally understand that it may cut cost to close early but staff should be communicating this with guests when they walk in/up to the restaurant not avoiding/ignoring them especially since it is advertise... read more
