SCAM ALERT – Coinstar Will STEAL Your Money! If I could give ZERO stars, I would. Never, and I mean NEVER, use a Coinstar machine unless you enjoy getting ripped off. I had over $34 in coins, carefully counted beforehand, and opted for a Starbucks gift card since it supposedly has no fee. Sounds great, right? WRONG. The machine miscounted my coins and only gave me $28. And guess what?
