thieves – Total ripoff. I basically been stolen of my money in my face. I looked at the receipt and any way i do the math i don't end up with 1450$ pair of glasses.I asked the lady to do the math for me and she lied in my face. I did the math in her face i end up with approx 1000$ and she still lies in my face that she charged something else which is not on the list. I clearly saw what she calculated. Exceptional Customer Service! – The most enjoyable retail experience that I have EVER experienced. . .anywhere!!! Susan researched my insurance prior to my arrival. I was happily surprised by how much my co-pays covered. Dr. Cohen's exam was more thorough than any Doctor I have ever seen in the past. We picked out a stylish Gucci frame and a 2nd pair at no charge (as per the printed coupon I presented) Great Doctor, Exceptional, Friendly, Attentive service. I left with 2 great pairs of glasses in less than an hour. BRAVO

Service is a bit trying, but exam is thorough. – From the front desk point of view, it is a bit lacking. Been going here for a couple years and they are always mixed up when it comes to putting the insurance thru their system. Never worked, really. You need to be prepared to submit the receipts to your insurance yourself, if you can fit this into your schedule! I get the feeling the help is not very savvy on the computer. horrendous service, high prices, dishonest salespeople – My goodness I have not experienced anything as bad a this experience in a long time. My wife and I went in to buy three pairs of reading glasses over a month ago, and the saga has not yet ended. Let me first say that I have been going to Cohens for ten years, but recently they have been sold to a new owner. And with the sale came a new way of doing business. Terrible place! – I had always gone to Cohen's at the Stamford Mall, but because I had moved closer to Westport, I chose this location. Never again! The staff was rude, they sold me eyeglass frames that are too small for my head (causing headaches), they encouraged me to buy extra boxes of contacts with a coupon, but gave me a coupon that had expired. By the end of my dealing with this place, I had spent over $600 on myself and my girlfriend in exam fees, glasses, and contacts. I left this experience frustrated and angry. Cu... read more

Best eye care there is – Dr. Westrup is the doctor and owner of the Cohen's in Westport and Fairfield and I am so pleased with the careful and thorough examination that my children and I were given.She really cares about you and your eyes! I will go back to her for as long as shes practicing and the selection of frames are unbelievable! I wish more doctors were as caring and thorough in examining and treating the health of their patients as Dr. Westrup is. Knowledgable and caring staff as well as beautiful eyewear!!

best eyecare anywhere – Wonderful experience; the doctor took her time and explained everything patiently; the staff was courteous and knowledgable; great prices and took all insurance plans. The frame selection was amazing and they had a lab on the premises. I have been telling all my friends who wear glasses and contacts what great care they will receive here. I will be a lifetime patient and customer.

TERRIBLE Store, AWFUL Employees – Going into this store I felt like a second class citizen. I am not going to lie, I do make a lot of money. However, I do not wear fancy clothes or drive a nice car, but I was prepared to drop a couple hundred on a pair on nice Ray-Bans. Never again!! – I was overcharged over a hundred dollars for my frames due to the Rep rushing me through the process so that they could close the shop. I was not provided the same level of service that more wealthy "Westport" clients were given. It took 8 visits to the store and lenses being ordered three times due to them not being cut properly, or not fitting in the frames before I decided to pick up the lenses and take them to a different Cohen's in a different town.
