Gave me an inaccurate dx based soley on info my mother told her who is also her patient and would not remove diagnosis when confronted. Not a good experience.
Dr. Cohen really listens and really, truly cares.
I have been a patient of Dr. Cohen's for a number of years. She is always patient, listens and is responsive to my concerns. In an emergency visit request I have also seen her nurse practitioner, Jerilyn Summers, who is also very responsive and thorough. For those complaining about seeing the nurse practitioner instead of the doctor, when you schedule, you merely state you want to visit only the doctor. Excellent bedside manner and very professional. She takes time to listen to her patients and never rushes off. She is thorough and Very competent. I highly recommend her.
Although tough to get in, she a very caring professional doc. I fear the day she retires as she will be missed.
I am no longer a patient of Dr Cohen and I miss her very much. I left her because of the Millinium Group. They are her employers and they dictate who and for how long she sees patients. When I decided to leave her I wrote her a letter which I labeled "Personal" and she never received it as someone in the Millineum Group read and did not give to her. Dr Cohen is a good doctor and I wish she did not work for the Millioium Group.
My treatments from Dr. Cohen could not have been better. This Lady is extremely well versed and very proficient in concern with your health, She not only knows all of the cares of your needs and handles them as efficiently as possible. This is why I give the Dr. Cohen a 5 star rating.
Dr Cohen can no longer be considered your primary care physician if she doesn't have time to see you. She has no openings for annual wellness exams, unless you have booked one a year in advance. Therefore, you will be asked to see a nurse practitioner for your annual wellness. I personally don't want a nurse practitioner considered my primary care/
Let me start by saying that I have not done anything wrong to Dr. Cohen. In my experiences with Dr. Cohen; she is not to be trusted. I was told by Health grades to try to make an appointment with Dr. Cohen's office, or any other doctor, where, she practices, but she appears to still refuse to allow me into the building, where she practices, even, though, I have not done anything wrong. Dr. Cohen is dishonestly keeping me from obtaining a doctor where she practices in Port Charlotte for life.
