Had a referral from my PMD and scheduled an appointment with the Dr.Cohen 2 month ago , waited to see the doctor tomorrow. 48 hrs. before my first visit to the doctor was notified that the referral from my primary physician needed to be submitted via website through my insurance , unfortunately I was not told during my initial call to the office. I'm very happy with my varicose surgery by Dr. Cohen. It has been a few years since my lazer surgery and my leg looks great. I highly recommend him to anyone who is suffering with those varicose veins.
Physician put that I had worn stockings when I had not in order to get my procedure covered by Horizon. Had to wait for over an hour on all of my appointments even when I arrived early. Horrible experience. warning do not go for vein treatment.
Totally NOT satisfied with Dr .Cohen ... I went to him 3 yrs ago after having an arterial doppler , confirming I had PAD ....He recommended a angioplasty and as I realize ,being an RN , there never a guarantee with any procedure ...however, I was a same day surgery scheduled for an early appt angioplasty and was told I would not have to stay overnight , I found this odd due to the fact of at least monitoring for bleeding after the procedure, which is the main potetional problem following this type of procedure ... One of the many things I appreciate about Dr. Cohen is his earnest dedication to his practice and to his profession ... I would recommend him highly to anyone seeking treatment.
