The front staff is very rude, you can never get through to anyone to make appointments. They don’t have appointments for 6 months out. Poor service overall, the physicians are great. Northwell needs to improve this.
Reached out multiple times online as per their instructions to do so for an appointment and never received any follow up. When I finally called today, was met with an unpleasant person who immediately asked what for only to tell me they had nothing available for the next 4 months. Why ask then? She was unfriendly and unapologetic when I explained I've been trying to reach out via their website and frankly seemed unempathetic as well. Glad to go elsewhere with my child.
Dr. Apsan is an exceptional pediatric endocrinologist who truly goes above and beyond for her patients. She is incredibly caring, empathetic, and patient, making both my child and me feel at ease during the appointment. Her depth of knowledge is evident, and she took the time to thoroughly explain everything in a way that was easy to understand. Do not bring your child to this practice or to Cohens Children’s Hospital if you are seeking treatment for Type 1 diabetes or any condition that requires an endocrinologist. The endocrinologist you will be forced to see at Cohens is from this practice and their incompetence borders on negligence. Dr. Apsan and her assistant both lied to me that we would be leaving the hospital with supplies to monitor and treat our son.
