I just had the best French fries ever. Crisp on outside and soft inside. I have never liked French fries. Usually have their great Cobb salad. Great locals restaurant
Cody's Cafe - Just not my thing, I guess... Kim Cameron, Valencia, CA I have eaten here countless times. I kept trying to find something I really liked because everyone else loved to eat here. I just never really liked it. I LOVE Breakfast Burritos & Phili Cheese Steak sandwiches, but I don't love theirs. The Breakfast Burrito is kind of boring & I always needed to add things to enjoy it (which increases the price quite a bit). Cody's: Hearty, healthy and friendly I have had the pleasure of visiting Cody's regularly for over three years now, and it's just fine. The food is good and the service is outstanding. I usually have breakfast, which is quite good; and when I have had other meals, such as Thanksgiving or Easter dinners, they have been more than I could have asked for. I recommend it highly. The prices are reasonable -- for Santa Barbara! See you there some time.
Pretty good The reason I like this cafe is that it is close to home, and is open late. The reason I did not rate it so well is from time to time the food just isn't that great they have a wonderful turkey dinner, the turkey is always excellent with stuffing and green beans. I think they are friendly but should put a little more effort into their cooking for the prices they charge.
Hearty Food! A great place for heart food. It has a somewhat diner feel to it. The decor needs updating but it's all about the food. The place is crowded on the week-ends, but theres a reason. Good food. The menu has a large selection. The wait staff is friendly and prices are reasonable.
Really good Phily-steak sandwich I like that place a lot because they have pretty much everything on their menu. There is so much to choose from.... I highly recommend their breakfast and lunch. The portions are huge and can be easily split if you are not too hungry. Their stuff is very friendly. Be aware that you might have to wait to be seated since it is a popular lunch and breakfast place.
