I’ve been to the special Christmas event twice and loved it. Reasonably priced, beautiful decorations and music, the Father Christmas and Santa were kind and full of interesting historical information and I got the most reasonably priced, beautiful local wreaths for my home. Can’t wait to go again this year and hoping to make it to some other events this year as well.
Smith Castle is a fantastic representation of RI History. From it's humblr begining as a trading post to a large productive northern plantation to a local dairy farm. Smith Castle gives us history from tbe last 350+ years. The site itself is immaculate and the grounds are beautifully kept. I would recommend anyone to go and check it out.
A great piece of history to visit and learn about local colonial life!
