Coconuts you sure didn't disappoint. Grouper was outstanding, atmosphere was superb and Danielle C was an excellent server. She gave us so many choices and recommendations. The tomato salad added lettuce. Manager walking around asking how service and food was. Its impressive hats off to you and your team.
It was a decent meal but way, way too expensive, we ordered an appetizer that was supposed to be heirloom tomatoes which was $15 and there was no heirloom tomatoes in it whatsoever and our fish, was almost $40 for a small piece, it's way too expensive, way overpriced!
Great place! Great service! Great food! Reservations are recommended any time. We had a very short wait and it was well worth it.
We got more than one recommendation for this place, with rave reviews for the great seafood. Maybe I've been spoiled by all the great seafood options around the mid-Atlantic. But if this is the best that Ft. Lauderdale had to offer, it's pretty dismal. The food is just ok. There's really not even that many fish/seafood options on the menu. Not impressed.
Coconuts restaurant has great food, service and location. An easy walk from most of the hotels in the area.
Went two days in a row. Everything was great! Coconut shrimp and jerk wings are worth the visit.
It is a wonderful place with great ambience. Just remember it is a tourist restaurant on the beach so food is good but not a particularly great.Coconut Shrimp and ribs were good. I would recommend it over most of the nearby restaurants.
