Just a reminder...if your bartender downstairs serves you a beer without an ID check (and I am 41 to clarify) but then the little girl at the bottom of the stairs does ID me with a beer in my hand, doesn't make much sense. This place has too many backasswards rules for me to ever consider coming back. No need for a reply. First impressions are everything.
Coconut shrimp were delicious and service was excellent !!
My son & I visited over the weekend. We wanted to sit on the top deck, but too windy. But it turned out great, as Mackie was our bartendar & kept us entertained while we camped out for a few hours. My drinks were perfect...we ordered gumbolaya, crab dip, & coconut shrimp. All delish!
Always great service, atmosphere and food! We are regulars at Joe's.
They would not seat me in the open area on the porch (even though there were 3 empty tables) bc they "didnt want to overload the kitchen!!! That's exactly what they told me. They don't seat u immediately bc they don't want to work the kitchen too hard!! I've never heard that excuse before in my life. I would not make a trip back there. Shrimp was "mushy" for $13- I got a few fries, 3 bites of slaw, 1 hush puppy and hand full of fries. I'd rather eat at the little burger place u have to pass by as u walk to Joes.
Went for happy hour. Had best table and view of ocean. Service was prompt and friendly. Generous wine pour was s bonus!! Will return.
