I am extremely disappointed with my experience involving Cockerell Dermatopathology. A biopsy was sent to this lab without my knowledge or consent. At no point was I informed that my sample would be sent to an outside dermatopathology laboratory, nor was I given an estimate of the cost or asked to approve the service beforehand. Later, I received a bill because my insurance did not cover the full amount. The absolute best!
Be aware of this company. This company sends bill without contacting you and letting you know why the bill was send. They miss spelled the name, and when I asked them why they did not called us they're telling me they sent a text. We received 100s of spams and they expect us to recognize a lab that we never worked with. They call themself a family oriented business, this is a joke. The worst business.
Don’t be surprised if you get a bill for something random out of your consent. Do yourselves a huge favor and stay away from this place.
