We had wonderful, supportive caseworkers as we fostered to adopt. Always quick to answer questions and gave us the resources and help we needed. Educational events were relevant and helpful as well.
We were able to enroll in a free parenting and behavior management class for our son, who is not special needs, but needed a bit of help with handling his emotions and social interactions. The Incredible Years curriculum and the Dina(saur) class were AMAZING. It was a huge commitment, and I wasn't sure I'd be able to make it through, but hte group leaders for the parenting segment were wonderful, made coming each week a pleasure, and we could definitely see a difference in our child enrolled in Dina. We fostered and adopted through cobys and they were always very supportive and there for us when we needed them. I would recommend them. I love cobys.
Haven't exactly gone here yet, but not great for advertising being Christian based. 2 month waiting lists and asking a lot of money for my minuscule income. Doesn't seem helpful to Christians to me.
