Best sourdough in Newmarket, full stop. The Sourdough 158 has a proper crust and a soft chewy inside that grocery store bread can't touch. Everything is baked from scratch daily and they slice your loaf fresh on the spot. Staff are friendly and fast. Bonus: they donate all unsold bread to the community every night. If you're anywhere near here, grab a Sourdough 158 while it's still warm and thank me later.
I am always thrilled when I order bread from COBS. This place is truly fabulous. My favourites are the sourdough bread and sourdough with flax. As well as their scones! Raspberry all the way. But today I was actually in the mood for a bagel and these everything bagels are INCREDIBLE! I absolutely love them. They are delicious with cream cheese, or a little butter and avocado and would make an outstanding sandwich. I cannot say enough about how in love I am with these bagels.
I’ve always been greeted with a smile and warm welcome every time I visit. Their bread and pastries are always so fresh and absolutely delicious. I love that they always have samples available on the counter for you to try new things. I don’t like buying grocery store bread anymore. Once you try Cobs you’ll never go back.
