Awesome bar shared with All Rise brewing. They have local shows as well. Really cool place if you are into punk rock but it appeals to all!

what a hoot. they've got some sort of theme night regularly throughout the week. three bars with a nice outdoor patio. plenty of easy access free parking. just an all-around fun bar.

We just tried to go into Cobra Lounge, and one of the girls in our group made light-hearted jokes with the bouncer. There was nothing bad said but the bouncer got mad wouldn’t let us in, and put an arm out to block one of us from coming in. If a bouncer is that sensitive and is willing to physically block a woman, and therefore an entire group from spending $300+, than I wouldn’t waste a second in this place. It was an absolutely uncalled for reaction and we will not recommend this place.

We went to the Cobra Lounge last night after a 50th Birthday Celebration. We were set up by the crowd and the bouncers like a pack of Orcs. A sea of black t-shirts set upon our group like I’ve never seen. I’ve lived in Chicago for 20 years and have never felt so scared and intimidated like I did last night. We were essentially victims of a hate crime-now I know what that feels like... I would never go back there, especially knowing that the security and management endorse such behaviour.

Good beer and some tasty food, but even better live music. They bring in so many excellent metal bands- many nationally touring- and it’s a small venue so you can get up close. (But- bring noise reduction earplugs! It’s loud in the music room!)

good craft beer, nice layout with separate areas for the bar, dining, and bands. didn't try the food but it smelled good.
