Opened in May 2013, CoBo Sushi Bistro and Bar is a one-of-a-kind dining experience that not only includes the Japanese art of sushi, but also has plenty of non-traditional and contemporary menu items. We have a fun-loving, casual, yet elegant atmosphere that welcomes all.

Cobo is our date night go to. We love this place.
I took my friend out for her birthday on a Saturday night. Neither of us had been before and she wanted to try it. We didn't have a reservation, but seats at the bar cleared out quickly and we were able to sit down. The waitress was very attentive and the food came out soon after we ordered. I had the spider roll and she had the Appalachian, and we split an order of crab rangoon. Everything was phenomenal. It was honestly some of the best food I've ever eaten and I will be coming back soon for more!
A friend recommended we try this restaurant when we were visiting from out of town. We are so happy he did! The sushi was fantastic and the shrimp appetizer our server suggested was perfectly cooked and just the right amount of spice. The atmosphere was lively and fun. It is obvious this is a favorite spot for locals & visitors!
Excellent sushi with absolutely terrible service and long waits for your food. We love CoBos sushi, however, it's extremely expensive in comparison to other sushi restaurants in big cities with extreme wait times for your food. Consistently waiting 45 minutes to an hour to receive our orders. We actually stopped dining in 6 months ago and now only do take out. That solved the waiting issue, however, 80 dollars for 5 rolls is pretty insane.
The food is good but there were 4 guys preparing sushi all with beards with no beard protection and 2 were coughing while food prepping. Gross. I thought it was required by law to cover beards when prepping food?
