The worst experience I've ever had with ER. 9+ Hour wait time, understaffed, disorganized.
I really hate doing this. Firstly, it has nothing to do with the staff. I'm posting this simply because I couldn't find a single human to send a private email to. Two days ago, I spent 8 hours at the ER - 5.5 in the waiting room which gave me lots of time to look around. At one point, I looked up and saw the ventilation system. People Complain about our medical care and in some situations rightfully so but you often hear the negative things and never get to hear the great side of things. Today my husband had to go to the emergency and with Cobequid being the closest to us, I decided to stop there and I am so glad I made that decision. He was treated By Dr. Maryam Abbas And Nurse Amy McDonough. We arrived at 7 am with him in a large amount of pain. Went as soon as they opened as I had a foot injury and I found the experience positive. Staff were very efficient and friendly. For in and out with X-rays and Doctor consult in about 2 and a half hours!
