A Provincial example of how NOT to run a pub We were never seated, so we can't comment on the cuisine. I would say that the staff could start by greeting and seating the customers in a timely manner. The waitresses acted as if their stuff was the only deal in town. We went on to White Plains a few miles away for a warm reception and decent food. It would have been nice to spend our $100 locally, but for professionalism and efficiency we would rather give our money to a chain.
Cobble Stone is another good lunch place. Another choice for lunch or dinner for those in the nearby office complexes, including Pepsico and SUNY at Purchase. The prices are reasonable. It is a place where young people seem to gather for a decent meal and to meet friends.
