Parking Lot Nightmare The hospital staff was great,especially a kind,warm and very friendly nurse in the CCU. Her name was Tamika. I give her high praise. If all nurses were as compassionate and caring, and may I say, "Down to earth," you would not see a sad face from patients who are in the unit with non-end -of -life problems and would probably see a very seldom smile from those who are. ER not good care I got a call my mother was send to the ER on june 24, around 12 am.We waited around rwo hours, Still no nurse came to inform us anthing, When we drcide to go to another hospital the nurse name Amada did talk us into staying Still hours went by, no nurse came to inform us anything, We didn;t know how to lift the bed head down, were the bathroom was, anything about if the doctor was coming, We call for a pain pill, still no answer We decide to leave and go to another doctor the next day. Hit or Miss We had family stay there a few times and honestly the staff is excellent or mediocre. It is unfortunate that from floor to floor or unit or unit, there is no consistency. I am very impressed with the cleanliness of the facility and the accessibility of location is great, but the nursing staff was not always up to par. The onstaff physicians were also great, but some of the specialists that saw our family were totally rude and hadn't even read charts before coming in the room.
