Wonderful hospitality from Doug, very well stocked rooms, comfy beds & great location.
Doug Mcleod and family are your hosts. I can not fault Doug and family's service. Possibly one of the most inviting, personable, and service driven motels i have stayed at. Rooms are comfortable and clean, all with air-conditioning. Some rooms are self contained while other rooms may use the communal kitchen which is fully stocked to cook up a storm. I was travelling through Surat for work with Lockhart Design, for a local farm house renovation & extension. I stayed overnight at the Cobb & Co Country Motel, which was perfect for my late check-in and early check-out work trip. I was met by a very hospitable Doug, who had turned the air conditioning on in my room earlier so it was cool when I got there. Great stop over place on your way through Surat.
We totally agree with everyones 5 star comments. Doug you are the most welcoming host we have ever come across on our travels and boy we have stayed at a lot of motels. We will definitely be back. Cheers to your Doug Kind regards Pete and Sue Chatsworth QLD
