RecommendedI booked my boat ride through Austin Boat Rentals which use cobalt boat rental’s ski boat. My boat ride was very good and the captain was very nice. I was very disappointed with a couple things though. I called and spoke to Austin Boat Rentals and they had promised me a tube for the boat which we did not get when we got there. I even got an email saying they would “provide a tube upon request” and this was included with the boat rental. Hi Evelyn, sorry we took the tube out for safety reasons, when there are that many boats out on Saturday its just scary for a tuber. The people who were tubing on Saturdays are being extremely risky. I just didn't want anyone to get run over by one of the hundreds of boats out there on Saturday's. I have to choose safety every time. The waiver is just a link to your text so you can sign on your phone, being that it was 30 mins late was my fault, just human error. By far the best boat rental company on Lake Austin! We use them all the time, our family and friends love it. Captain John is friendly & a real pleasure to work with.
