Very upset about the repair made to my fridge's ice maker. Since October we have been trying to get it to work right. Every time the repairman would come out he would fix it or exchange parts on it and within days or sometimes hrs. it would break down again. This went on until Feb. The insurance paid off on it since it had been over 45 days since the initial prob. began. We still ordered and paid to have it replaced $300.+ and got no warranty. Horrible – Worst service ever, had to use a Maytag "certified" tech. Maytag delivered the warranted part after two weeks another week goes by and finally get an appointment between 12 and 5pm, tech calls ten minutes before showing up, does not knock or wait for someone to answer. Get a message AFTER 5pm, saying he came by and no one was home. Told him I was in the backyard. "To bad call on Monday" them he just hung up on me. NEVER USE THESE CROOKED PEOPLE.

I was quoted a trip charge of $89 and was told that this amount would be applied to any labor done on my repair. I was then charged $50 for a plastic part AND $170 for a 30 minute job. They clearly overcharged on labor and ADDED the trip charge. I had a dinner party coming hours later so I was stuck and had no options. I will never use this service again nor will i ever recommend them.

Deceptive business practices – After charging you a service call, they will then try and sell you a repair that you don't need. Go someplace else and save your money.

Rip-off if you don't proceed with repair – They will charge you $90 to drive to your home. Then charge $40 to diagnose the problem. You're out $140 if you choose not to repair. They don't tell you this up front. Total rip-off!
