We recently moved from Port Saint Lucie Fla., to Pgh Pa. The overall experience with Coastal Van Lines was exceptional. From Peggy who answered the phone, to Harrison who gave the quote, to Rusty and Barrett who packed the truck, and last but not least Tony the driver who delivered my stuff. Worst experience ever! Do not trust these movers. When they inspect your belongings before move they will mark logs with a code that it was damaged so they do not have to pay if they damage. They lost so many of our belongings and our items went directly to their warehouse? How could they have lost them? No response to our requests for an explanation. Save yourself a lot of heart ache and use White Glove. Although the Larry Parks' (owner of Coastal) is a sales rep for them as well. What a stressful encounter this was.
Reuben Buckner was my mover and I was so pleased with his professionalism. I would highly recommend again and again especially if I could guarantee Mr. Buckner. Fabulous. Quick, easy, professional, and courteous.
We were unhappy for the fact we were quoted one price and charged another. That was 2thousand more. If we had been told this from the beginning all would have been well & we would of hired someone else !!! The movers themselves were Very accomodating. I have friends moving fr Vero and didnt suggest these folks.
I recently was in search of a mover to get an estimate moving some medical equipment from Florida to the New York area. After making over twenty calls, with no success, I called Coastal Van Lines. Not only were they eager to help me but they gave me a very fair price. All these glowing reviews, must be paid shills. Our experience was not that glowing. The son has to have some remedial training in customer service, especially in being fully transparent in estimating and pricing.
