My husband and I bought our first home together last August. When we moved in we noticed our floors were hot, which turns out is a slab leak. Coastal Resources informed us we could not use our own plumber to fix the problem but said we had to use theirs. We have had 3 of their plumbers come, they have yet to remedy the issue. I have had a very negative experience working with Coastal Resource Management as an Association for Casitas de Alipaz. They are unwilling to work with the owners in order for the tenants to resolve issues with their Condos. I requested to shut the water off on Monday and they agreed to set it up and everything was fine until I received a call today, Thursday. They said that they are unable to shut the water off because they are already shutting the water off on Friday and do not want to do it two days in a row. This is very... read more

The owner called on Saturday and requested that I send someone to turn off the water immediately. I asked how long it had been leaking and he said probably more than a week. I explained that the policy of the community is that we have to give everyone 48 hours notice for non-emergency water shut off. I explained that he would not like to be in the shower with shampoo on his head and have the water shut off.
