After reading recently about predatory business practices by major pharmacy chains, I immediately looked up local independent pharmacies I could frequent instead. I visited Coastal Pharmacy & Wellness today, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, acting like they had all the time in the world for me and my questions, and even calling their vitamin supplier with a question out of sheer curiosity. The place has the kind of mom-and-pop vibe that's too vanishingly rare these days.
