My dermatologist sent two biopsies off to Coastal Pathology Lab and I NEVER got a bill, but instead, three months later, I too got a collections notice. What a scam.
The online system is absolutely the worse experience ever. A conplete nightmare- hopefully the laboratory operates better than the online portal. 1 star is generous.
Wrong job. Should not be charged for pathological biopsy
Add me to the list of collection disputes. They triple charged me for a biopsy and I disputed it. I never heard from them again and then suddenly I get a letter from collections. I have had a perfect credit history and never a problem like this. I will never go to a doctor that sends lab tests to this company again.
I was uninsured at the time of my procedure & they charged me an astronomical pathology fee. When I called their billing department, they claimed they already gave me a “50% discount” at the time of my account creation and refused to lower my bill when I said I could pay half of my bill upfront today and be done with it. Only thing they claimed they were able to do was put me on a payment plan. Disappointing to say the least.
