Patient should be prepared to accept Coastal Orthopedic corporate mentality. They preach a single message from the beginning and it never changes no matter how badly the surgery and recovery process happens. From the doctor, PAs and PTs the story remains the same. It appears individual thinking is not an option. They told my wife repeatedly that her “pain was in her head”. Her surgery to repair her knee was today; 10 months of pain and frustration later.
My anxiety about the MRI process had made me afraid, but both of the two kind, thoughtful associates were gentle, understanding, and compassionate. The whole procedure was handled efficiently and well.
