Awhile back I had an interview for a Scheduling Coordinator position. First - the interview was with four people and took one hour and forty five minutes. Second - they kept aggressively insisting my references provide examples of my interaction and work experience with co-workers from over 15 years ago. I found out that employers are not supposed to talk to an applicant's references before hiring you. Third - I never even got the job. Very unprofessional. Numerous scheduling conflicts. New people rotated out with no warning to the clients which is very stressful for clients with autism. Would rate zero stars if it was an option.

Current employee. Been working for Coastal for a couple of years. Decent place to work. Cons about coastal is that they don't pay travel pay anymore (don't know why they stop). Don't give raises and don't show appreciation to their CNA's.

Coastal home care is the worst place anyone could ever work or send their loved one. They take advantage of staff , they don’t set realistic life goals for their clients, they are unprofessional, they are racist, and the houses that they have their clients living in are ran down and in unsafe neighborhoods. If you are an employee who suggests things that will better the company and the quality of life for the clients they label you as troublemaker... the pay is low and training is nonexistent.
