Mike's team at Coastal provided excellent service from the point of first contact to questions following the completion of the work. On both the administrative side, and the labor side, they were courteous, efficient, and performed above expectations. I hired Coastal after carefully reviewing a few vendors for Mini Splits and am glad I did. Throughout the process, they were very communicative. One install day they arrived with a large crew who operated like a well-oiled machine. They completed my installed and provided detailed instructions on use. They also provided additional insights on the MassSave rebate process. I would definitely recommend Coastal in the future.
Scam job. A 270 dollar charge for following the maufacturer manual for my water heater and ordering a part, then telling me to go on YouTube to learn how to install it myself. They didn't even order the right part. I would have been better off dealing with it myself, oh and I'd still have the 270 bucks. I called back stating that I already payed, and asking will they fix the water heater? Our air conditioning failed during last summers heat wave and I had difficulty getting someone to look at our problem until I contacted Coastal Air. The technician arrived the following day and had the a/c repaired in less than 2 hours. We have had multiple problems with our systems that are more 30 years old. We used Coastal to install whole-home heat pumps. They were responsive, competitively priced, and transparent throughout the process. The staff were patient as we went through design and back-and-forth with Mass Save. The install was efficient and fast--the whole house was done in a day. Unlike other heat pump companies that have ridiculous pricing for uncertain quality, Coastal does the job and follows up throughout the process.
