These are some of the best eye doctors and medical staff in Eastern North Carolina! I saw all off the doctors at some point during our time in New Bern, and they were all very knowledgable and thorough. My husband had a particularly great experience with Dr. Hamm after he injured the surface of his eye. She got him in immediately and fixed the injury, and then worked with his busy schedule to follow up over the next week to ensure that he healed properly. Excellent staff that is very knowledgeable. Be prepared to wait a little but it's worth it. I got a full exam and the person attention from staff that I like. The doctor took his time during my examination and explained everything thoroughly to me. Excellent experience!
NEVER, EVER use this clinic. I went in two weeks ago with severe visual disturbances, was checked out, and told I needed to see a retina specialist and they'd refer me. A week later, no call, no referral. I called them and after a struggle they said they had no record of my needing a referral but they'd call me back. After another week I called them and they again had no record of any need for a referral.
