WE GOT BURNED. I brought several electric motors to Coastal for an estimate only. Perry at the front counter told me twice that it would be \$25 for each motor, and that they would call me with an estimate for ANY work that was needed. I again verified that with him when I dropped the motors off and he reiterated it. 3 days later, I get a call from Larry, the owner of the shop, stating the pumps are ready for pickup and the charge was \$950 dollars. dont trust these people, they took in some of our equipment and told us that it was an easy repair. We paid them for the repair, got our equipment back home and the equipment still did not work. We called them back and told them it still didnt work, they told us to bring it back in so they could check it out. They were going to fix it as they should have done in the first place because we had already paid for it, and we told them not to do anything else that would cost additional money without first getting our approval.
