I can't say enough great things about Davy and Coastal Confections. The cake tasting was delicious and Davy makes you feel like you are old friends when you visit. The cake was among the most affordable options we found. Davy was quick with responses when I had any questions or requests and went out of his way to get flowers to add to my cake even though I didn't have a florist as a last minute decision that I made. Coastal Confections are creative, professional, reliable and most importantly delicious! We worked together to design a baby shower cake and it was just perfect. I would recommend them any time!
Coastal Confections is the BEST! What drew me to them was the fact they can create anything. After visiting their website and seeing their Belle of the Bayou wedding cake I knew I had found someone who could create my cake. I asked them for a Croquembouche, as me and my husband share a deep Cajun/French heritage and wanted our cake to reflect our heritage. Their head Pastry Chef, Davy Crockett never hesitated at our request. He did an outstanding job! You cannot go wrong with Coastal Confections.
For Valentine's Day, Coastal Confections advertised a chocolate box filled with an assortment of chocolate truffles. I purchased one to give as a gift - amazing! Beautiful to look at, and the chocolate and truffles were absolutely delicious. Mr. Murray cannot only create beautiful cakes (as evidenced by the work displayed on his website), he also creates wonderful confectionery delights.
