I get competent and caring care here. The whole Coastal Community Health System has an issue with the phone system at this clinic which is NOT the fault of the individual clinic! It is modern day and I use the patient portal they offer and have no issue reaching anyone and usually hear back same day or next business day! Healthcare workers are underpaid and overworked and there is a shortage as well especially in rural areas, I am very grateful for a clinic in Darien and everyone is so kind to me at this clinic!
Disappointed after 3yrs of business & (3 different NPR), they almost caused me Not to receive surgery! By Not answering fax/phone calls/emails, sent by my Dr. for hip surgery scheduled 1 1/2 months out! Front desk was extremely rude to me & my fiancé! The nurse wasn't any help over phone-offering an appt for clearance the day After surgery was scheduled!! Thanking God they dropped the ball My Dr. office ref me to GME CLINIC in the hospital! This establishment came up on Google as an Urgent care center and it most definitely is not.Earliest appointment available was almost a week away. They need to change something !
They've taken care of me the past 3 yrs I've lived in Darien! Diagnosis has been on point the last year and a half with this nurse practitioner!!
Whatever you do don't ask that they do their job. With the exception of 1 employee there they don't do their job. I'm diabetic and have been asking and waiting for a new meter to be called in for over a year. Top that I've been asking for my insulin to be called in for a month now. They never even attempted to do the pa until I am now completely out of insulin and are now saying it can still take 2 weeks. This place doesn't care for the people at all.
