I have been living on Gabriola for over 30 years. When I first arrived I thought that banking at the CIBC would be better than using the smaller Coastal Community Credit Union. I was WRONG!! I have had excellent service and there is no doubt that these amazing people have gone above and beyond to help me achieve my goals. They have made suggestions that have helped me pay off my mortgage faster save on banking fees and even spent time to help me get more organized to run my business more efficiently. there is no one in this branch able or willing to assist a customer. I was told I'd have to make an appointment online for another day, if I wanted to speak with an agent / rep (they don't have "tellers"). This after I paid to park my car 2 blocks away. Beats me, what they actually DO in that branch - why do they pay for a downtown lease? Guess I've been spoiled by professional, helpful service at Parksville cccu.
